Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m Diamond Bates, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in Connecticut. I specialize in supporting individuals who are facing life transitions, anxiety, stress, and trauma-related concerns. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to meet your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and strengths-based counseling to help you develop healthier coping skills and strengthen your sense of self. I’m especially passionate about working with adults and young people who are ready to build resilience and create meaningful change.
In addition to my clinical work, I have a background in community mental health and a deep commitment to serving diverse populations. I believe in meeting clients where they are and honoring their lived experiences in the therapeutic process.
As a proud mother, I understand firsthand the importance of balance, self-compassion, and flexibility in everyday life. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, practicing wellness routines, and finding joy in small, creative moments.
